Gender-Neutral School Uniform: Way to Inclusivity and Sustainability

I want to ask why a child is being forced to wear a particular gender’s uniform?

What if the child wants to identify themself as so-called ‘different’ gender? Nobody cares. But, you should! Because change comes from ‘you’ and from being ‘you’.

Gender-neutral uniform proposes the same dress code across genders. This concept also gives the transgender community an edge because they don’t feel left out and out of choice.

When surveyed in schools, girls believed they feel more comfortable in shirt-pants.

Additionally, gender-neutral uniform promotes sustainability and cost-effectiveness. The same uniform can be worn by siblings and donated to any gender.

Stitching school uniform for girls is comparatively costly because they include dupatta, salwar, etc. which need to be purchased/stitched separately. But, buying straightforward shirt-pants is worthwhile.

In short, gender-neutral uniform is going to spread a sense of unity, sustainability, and inclusivity among the young generation. With this model, no child will feel left out and will have the time to explore their gender identity.
